For as long as I can remember, I’ve been endlessly curious about other people. I love listening and understanding what makes a person light up and how I can help them connect to what they care most about.

Growing up, my dad was in the Army and I had the opportunity to live in different places. I started school in Japan and learned about kitsune - foxes. Folklore about foxes explained they were a spirit guide and protector that increased their wisdom and magical powers as they aged. For every 100 years a fox lived, it grew another tail. I loved this story and Moon Fox is my homage to honoring the idea that we all have the ability to reflect, grow and align our intuition with our goals, no matter what phase of life we’re in.

Being the new kid in so many places gave me the ability to experience new cultures, personalities and world views. In Hawaii, I fell in love with the beauty of the ocean and the island and learned the importance of conservation. In Louisiana, I fell in love with the music, mysticism and gumbo.  In Georgia, I fell in love with the azaleas in Augusta during high school and the band scene in Athens during college. I moved to Atlanta right after the Olympics and after experiencing the friendly energy and diversity, I finally put down roots and found my home. Through all of the places and the people I came in contact with, I came to understand even more deeply how everyone and everything is connected.

I’ve volunteered with nonprofits for as long as I can remember. My mom had the superpower to create a community no matter where we moved, and the first place she started was how we could be of service. I am passionate about volunteering my time with organizations that are protecting the environment and helping to give everyone the same opportunities.

I have 25 years of communications and community engagement experience. I currently serve as the Interim Executive Director for EarthShare Georgia and Vice-Chair on the board of Partnership for Southern Equity. Previously, I served on boards of Park Pride, Piedmont Park Conservancy and Keeping it Wild.

I live in Atlanta with my husband, daughter, dog, cat and several tropical fish. I love traveling, spicy food, live music, good bourbon and wearing flipflops. Bonus points if I get to do more than one at once. I’m a believer that our thoughts put reality into motion. Let’s do this thing. I’m here when you’re ready.
